The YLS series fibre laser is IPG’s high-power continuous-wave ytterbium fibre laser system for industrial and manufacturing use. It features the widest range of fibre diameters, is available from a few kilowatts to tens of kilowatts, and offers the option to terminate up to 6 ports from one power source.
Industrial Laser Solutions offers the following YLS Series fibre laser:
Features
Power levels from 1 to 100 kW options
Consistent high brightness and low beam divergence
Rugged, sealed and air-conditioned enclosures with optional internal dryers
Flexible fiber delivery options, including long fibers and multi-port switches
High modulation frequency support for advanced cutting

The YLR Series are a continuous-wave (CW) diode-pumped Ytterbium fibre lasers with output powers of up to around ~1.5 kW range. Its 19-inch rack-mountable design offers a cost-effective, flexible solution for integration into industrial equipment such as laser cutting, welding, drilling, and materials processing systems. Like the YLS series, it features the widest range of fibre diameters and the option to terminate up to 6 ports from one power source.
Features
CW operation at infrared wavelengths (~1060–1080 nm)
High beam quality with a clean, sharply focused spot
Compact, rugged rack-mount or modular designs
High wall-plug efficiency (>40%) for energy saving
Compatible with analog, RS-232, Ethernet and remote diagnostics
