Deburring
and Surface Finishing Machines

Some parts are seen. Stainless panels, kitchen equipment, lift interiors and architectural work need a clean edge and a uniform brushed face, and getting that by hand takes your best people the longest. Lasvio BRP, BBRP and BRBP machines deburr, round the edges and lay down a straight-line brushed finish in one through-feed pass.

Lasvio BBRP automatic deburring, edge rounding and surface finishing machine

What inconsistent finishing costs you

Grinding marks and handling scratches on visible faces
A brushed grain that changes from part to part and batch to batch
Hours of manual polishing by skilled staff
Rejected parts at final inspection, after all the value has been added

BRP, BBRP or BRBP: which one

Every configuration ends with a finishing roller (the P station) that applies the straight-line brushed finish. The belts and brush ahead of it do the deburring and edge rounding.

Lasvio BRP configuration: abrasive belt, rotary brush and finishing roller

BRP

Belt, rotary brush, finishing roller

Routine deburring, edge rounding and a brushed finish in three stages.

Lasvio BBRP configuration: two abrasive belts, rotary brush and finishing roller

BBRP

Two belts, rotary brush, finishing roller

Heavier burrs or dirtier parts that need more removal before rounding and finishing.

Lasvio BRBP configuration: belt, rotary brush, belt and finishing roller

BRBP

Belt, rotary brush, belt, finishing roller

Parts where the surface is refined after edge rounding, before the final brushed finish.

A fourth station only earns its cost if it does useful work on your parts. We will tell you if a BRP does the job.

Questions we get asked

What is the difference between deburring and surface finishing?

Deburring removes the burr and the sharp edge. Surface finishing changes how the face of the part looks: its grain, texture and consistency. These machines do both in one pass.

What finish does the roller produce?

A straight-line brushed grain along the feed direction, approximately a No. 4 finish. The exact result depends on the roller and abrasive selected.

Can it match an existing brushed finish?

Send us a sample of the finish you need to match along with your parts, and we will show you how close the machine gets.

Will it remove handling scratches?

Light scratches, yes, because the whole face is re-grained.

A finish your customer sees, every part the same.

Send us your parts and a sample of the finish you want. We will run them and send them back.
