High-speed and high-quality welding for e-mobility applications
LDD-700
LDD-700 is IPG’s real-time laser weld measurement system that uses Inline Coherent Imaging (ICI) for detailed and accurate battery laser weld monitoring. It uses a low-power IR laser beam to gauge distances, which is fired right at the bottom of the keyhole to record depth in real time.

Features
Inline coherent imaging technology for better laser welding efficiency
Measures the weld keyhole depth up to 40 mm and above
Produces depth readings with micron-level accuracy
Reduces the cost and inefficiencies of welding defects
Can be integrated with software for better insights and risk management
Works with other IPG fiber lasers and technologies
